The event which was celebrated with a holy mass was grace by dignitaries from far and near across the state. Rev. FR. Paul Obiaga who was the chief celebrate of the holy mass was also the legend the chaplaincy celebrates. Rev FR Paul while giving the homily, said to the congregation that today marks a new year in the liturgical calendar.
Rev Fr Paul also thanked the vice chancellor who was present at the event alongside the student affairs staffs and the people he couldn't mention, he appreciated every individual present at the mass and also invited them to his home town at Nkpor on the 18th of December for celebration with his town people
