Professor, other lecturers arrested for engaging in cultism

Some lecturers of the Ambrose Alli
University, Ekpoma, have been arrested for
their alleged involvement in cultism-related
activities.
The Commissioner of Police in Edo State, Haliru
Gwandu, made this known on Tuesday 19th o
April in Benin. Add to that, firearms were
recovered from the honorable men of the
Academia.
According to Daily Post, when a professor was
arrested, a double-barrel gun, single-barrel gun
and one pump action gun were allegedly
recovered.
Talk about Machine-gun Teacher.
But the commissioner said:
“The professor was arrested. He was granted bail.
The case is under investigation.”
Just a week before the arrests, the state police
command has refuted reports that police
officers had brutalised the Dean of the Faculty
of Law at the University, Professor Sunday
Edeko.
We could not confirm if this Dean is the actual
professor who was arrested with weapons.
Ekpoma has a reputation for cultism, which has
led to mindless loss of lives. The Commissioner
agrees, which is why he said this:
“It was a distress call from the community; the
university community made a call that cult groups
were killing and they killed so many.
“And at the time when they (policemen) went to
inspect a site, they discovered more than 14
beheaded students at that particular time. "
He's still not stopping or slowing down either.
He vowed to arrest more cultists and make
them face the law.
In his declaration of war, he said:
“We have a lot of issues with that particular
university. There are some senior lecturers that
were apprehended with firearms.
So, we are going to arrest those who are
mentoring and those who are real cultists and
charge them to court. There is no going back.”
Run bad boys. Run.
