It's no recent news the new shape Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is taking, as new development has been happening ever the inception of our new acting vice chancellor Prof Grey Nwakaobi.
Yesterday students of the institution had an interactive session with the vice chancellor. The event which also had religious activities was graced by clergy men, university council, and visitors from near and far.
During the event, over 50 students came out to renounce cultism after which the vice chancellor granted them Mercy.
The vice chancellor while addressing the students informed them that the academic calendar has not been tampered with as their second semester examination will still be on June alongside their 3month holiday.
He went on saying that, the era impunity is over as his administration will make sure of that. He gave out his mobile number for students to call for any form of impunity. He also dedicated the last Friday of every month to students, as from 10:30am to 04:30pm students can now visit him and lay their complains.
In an interview with a student who pleaded anonymity, he described prof Grey as the man the institute needs as he would take the institute to a higher level.
